About Black Box Disco
Black Box Disco Roadshow is based in Paignton in Torbay, Devon and provides mobile discos and music entertainment throughout the whole of the South West of the UK.
For the very best in mobile disco entertainment, I only use state of the art professional sound and lighting equipment from brands such as Bose, Martin, Pioneer, 00dj & Numark. Combined with the latest lasers, a full equipment backup and over 30 years experience, this show is guaranteed to be a success.
I first put needle to record way back in 1978, so when i say 'experienced' I really mean it! I started working night clubs where I developed the sixth sense feel for a crowd that keeps a party rocking, which, above all else is what I do best. In my time I have worked in most of the clubs in Torbay and all of the premier hotels including The Grand, Imperial, Belgrave, Grosvenor, Osborne and Berry Head.
I have had the honour to play at Weddings, Birthdays, Engagements, Corporate Events and Fashion Shows as well as Dinner Dance functions for the Royal Navy, Masonic Lodges, Golf Clubs and Rotary Club Balls. I have worked with Paul Young, Odyssey, The Bootleg Beatles, The Blues Brothers, an Abba Tribute Band as well as many others, In the early eighties I worked for the biggest roadshow in Europe, regularly playing to crowds of more than 1000 people
